This week the students learned about firefighting. They had the opportunity to try on gear, and learned about the training that firefighters need to be successful. We also began learning about multiplication and arrays! We will continue to practice this new skill, as well as reviewing time, money, fractions, addition, and subtraction.
Our class has recently gained a new student! If you are planning on sending anything for the class in the final weeks of school we now have 20 students.

To wrap up our school year our students will be learning about community helpers, and U.S. government. I am currently looking for any parent volunteers to come and share with our class, who have jobs that help serve our community! If you would like to volunteer please email me, or send me a dojo message with your career, and days you would be able to come to our classroom.
Snack for May We currently have plenty of snack in the classroom that we need to eat before the end of the school year! I will not be sending home the snack bag until we are completely out! Effective Monday, May 9, 2016, students will no longer be able to charge meals to their cafeteria accounts if they are lacking sufficient funds. For the remainder of the school year, students MUST have sufficient funds in their meal accounts to buy a school breakfast and/or lunch in the cafeteria. Please check your student's account balance and deposit funds as necessary. |
